We've both had the experience of watching our family and friends needlessly suffer from preventable and reversible diseases. By making simple lifestyle changes we've been able to recover from our own chronic health issues, from gas, bloating and mysterious weight to depression and toxic mold illness.
After our shared experiences using food and fitness as medicine, instead of prescriptions, we have both regained vibrant health and joined forces to help others do the same.

Melaina Marion, MS, RD, CPT
Melaina is a Registered Dietitian, Certified Personal Trainer, and Integrative Functional Nutrition Health Coach. She holds a Master's degree in human nutrition and is a graduate of Full Body Systems, a functional nutrition immersion program, and the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, a holistic health coach training program.
Drawing on her knowledge and experience in multiple practice settings including personal training, holistic wellness, as well as functional and clinical nutrition, Melaina will help you to create a completely personalized “road-map to health” that suits your unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and goals.
Melaina’s expertise in fitness and nutrition makes her uniquely qualified to provide a comprehensive program for overall wellness. She specializes in the nutritional management of high blood sugar, high blood pressure, abnormal cholesterol or triglyceride levels, weight management, and GI disorders. She can help, whether you're looking to lose weight, avoid medications, or just confused about what to eat.
Melaina is an avid marathon runner and Ironman triathlete. She loves to travel, cook simple, tasty meals for friends and family, and spend as much time as possible hiking in the woods with her husband and two dogs.
Amybeth Whissel, CHC, Chef
Amybeth is a professional health supportive chef specializing in plant-based nutrition. She completed her training at the Natural Gourmet Institute (NGI) in New York City, a nationally accredited program teaching health-supportive culinary education. There, she studied whole foods dynamics, living foods, clinical nutrition, and cooking for people with illnesses. In addition, Amybeth attended the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, a holistic health coach training program.
Amybeth is dedicated to promoting healthy relationships with food, fitness, and a lifestyle of clean living. She loves to teach the principals of cooking nutrient-dense, whole foods to help people easily navigate the overwhelm associated with food allergies/intolerances, autoimmune disorders, and even those simply looking to enhance their health and well-being.
Amybeth helps her clients tie their core beliefs to the way they live their lives physically, as well as spiritually so they can be in tune and aligned with their true selves.
Amybeth is a marathon runner and triathlete, and regularly competes in the NYC Parks Department 25-mile swim challenge. Her greatest athletic endeavor is keeping up with her very energetic five year old boy.
